Croxteth festival of Commmunity music, arts and culture
Despite the poor weather, Sunday's event (now in its fifth year) was well supported with about one thousand visitors to the park.
The event, organised by Alt Valley Community Trust, featured a high quality Stage Show (Kawada), Btec Students, Infinity, The Grace (plus Kayleigh) and Juice FM's Battle of the bands winner - the Alphites. Other attractions were a bouncy village and marquee entertainment featuring students and teachers from the Croxteth Communiversity Performing Arts centre.

The event was free to come to and 5-a-day healthy fruit was provided to all visitors courtesy of CHAT (Community Health Ambassadors Team). In better weather, the event would have attracted many more visitors. However, the people that came to the festival all enjoyed their afternoon in the park.
Croxteth Hall and Country Park would like to thank Paul Barwise, Phil Knibb, Dave Dover, Tony Jennings, Robbie Smith and all the stewards, Paula Werberton, Pauline Meredith, Lucy, Gemma and all the performers and employees that worked so hard in making the day happen.
