Mother's Day Treat

As well as the extremely popular Continental Market, we have decided to open up some of the display rooms just for the day - a couple of weeks early - as a Mother's Day special.

Why not take the opportunity to browse the variety of continental market stalls at the front of the Hall, selling a wide range of continental produce and other unusual goods. Then, pop inside the Hall (free of charge) and get a sneak preview of the main kitchen, servant's hall and Lord Sefton's wine cellar downstairs, then Lord Sefton's Breakfast room, Card room and Smoking room upstairs (not all of the display rooms will be open today).

Don't forget to call into the oak panelled Old Dining Room across the top of the grand Main Staircase for light refreshments (teas, coffees, juices, biscuits and cakes).

If you are considering getting married in the not too distant future - we will set aside a small area of the Old Dining Room to preview some of the wedding decorations - so take the oportunity of having a look.
