Hollywood comes to Liverpool

A fascinating insight into the glamorous lives of Errol Flynn and other Hollywood stars has come to light in research about life at Croxteth Hall, home of the Earl of Sefton.  

The Earl's French chef, Monsieur Raymond Lempereur, has been looking back on his life with the Earl and is collecting information about celebrity visitors to the Hall. Large image of hand written menu card (please be patient while the image loads)

He has now made contact with Errol Flynn's daughter, with his memories of Flynn's visits to Croxteth. 

 Monsieur Lempereur's recollections have already resulted in a book, with a DVD soon to be released as well.  The book, 'Avignon to Croxteth' by Maureen Lavelle is available in the Gift Shop at Croxteth Hall. 

The last (7th) earl of Sefton rubbed shoulders with royalty and many celebrities of the day.
