Winner at Croxteth looking for Olympic success
Liverpool runner Jonny Mellor is hopeful of securing a place in the Great Britain olympic team. Last year Jonny entered and won the 'Legends' 10 k race over a brand new course at Croxteth Park, demonstrating the calibre of athletes we are now attracting to the races at Croxteth.
Wearing race number 147, Jonny led a field of over 250 runners home in the Croxteth 10k last year; the race is being brought back over the same well received course in Olympic year 2012. It will be held on Sunday 3 June at 11am.
