Your Voice Counts
As part of their Community Engagement programme, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Teams adjoining Croxteth Country Park spent a day manning an information caravan at the front of Croxteth Hall chatting with local park users, giving them a chance to discuss any issues they have regarding anti-social behaviour or other policing matters either in their local communities or when out and about in the area. Visitors to the caravan have the option of speaking directly with an Officer, completing a written form or even having their opinion recorded on video. All information gathered on the day will contribute to directing Neighbourhood policing priorities in the coming months.
Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) affects many local communities; 'Your Voice Counts' and 'Have your Say' are part of Merseyside Police Force's committment to all local community residents to take these issues seriously and deal with them appropriately. It gives residents the opportunity to contribute towards guiding the future priorities of the Neighbourhood Policing teams to ensure they meet the needs of local communities which they serve.
If you missed Tina, Jaqui, Sarah and other 'high visibility' Police and Community Support Officers out and about in the park on Tuesday there are other ways to pass your thoughts, comments and experiences to Merseyside Police and help influence policing priorities in your neighbourhood.
Visit the dedicated pages on the Merseyside Police website to find contact details and an on-line form which you can use to express your concerns. Alternatively regular monthly meetings are held in each ward which you can attend, or you can call 0151 709 6010 and speak to a member of your local policing team.
