This is an exciting and authentically detailed programme full of the sights, sounds and smells of a Viking settlement which will help bring the past to life in a dramatic learning experience. Replica Viking coins will be struck and given as souvenirs.
Also included in the price; all Viking groups will get a voucher for free entry to Croxteth Home Farm. Animal breeds from Viking times can be seen on the farm and a special logo will identify them. We will make a set of teachers resources free to all schools booking the visit. These will include visit risk assessments, background information about the Vikings in this area, information about typical activities in a viking settlement and costume information.
