Why not take the opportunity to travel back to the time of the Viking invaders to Meet the Vikings in our authentically constructed settlement, presented by Wirhalh Skip Felag, a local and nationally acclaimed Viking and Anglo-Saxon re-enactment group.

Acknowledged for their detailed, authentic and knowledgeable reconstruction of Viking and Anglo-Saxon life, the enactors of Wirhalh Skip Felang will encourage young visitors to participate in some hands-on activities and will demonstrate aspects of domestic life.

This exciting and authentically detailed programme will convey the sights, sounds and smells of a Viking settlement and will bring the past to life in a dramatic recreation of a Viking settlement. Please note all participants must be in appropriate Viking costume for the visit.
