Home Farm welcomes a huge new arrival.

Tally - our new Cleveland Bay horse

Tally, a 12 year old Cleveland Bay horse is believed to be the second largest of its kind in Europe, standing at a massive 19 hands high, well above the average of around 16 hands.

The ex-police horse has been donated by local resident Mike Shaw and his 15 year old daughter Stacey Leigh, as Tally has outgrown his home with them. General Manager of Croxteth Hall and Country Park, Irene Vickers, said:

Tally is a stunning looking animal and has a very gentle nature. He is a welcome addition to the City Council's collection of Rare Breed Animals at the visitor attraction. The staff at Croxteth Park's Home Farm will take good care of Tally.

You can visit Tally every weekend at our opening times 10.30am - 4.00pm (last admission 3.30pm). Admission costs £2.30 / £1.50
