Spooky nights success
972 Visitors enjoyed this years Spooky Nights (22-24 October). As they entered the Hall from the Queen Anne Wing door they were taken back to 1952 when a huge fire occurred in Croxteth Hall.
As they toured the Spooky Hall visitors met children playing blind man's bluff, a spooky dancing girl and many former staff and guests of Croxteth Hall. There were lots of laughs along the way but also a scare or two - especially along the principal corridor where a young girl appeared. In the final scene and adding a spooky twist to the evening, the visitors were told they had in fact perished in the fire and were in fact . . . Ghosts!!!
Special thanks to the brilliant cast and staff of 'Breaking Free Productions Community Group', Myerscough College staff and students (particularly Enid's talented Floristry Class), Ian Hanson of South Liverpool Photographic Society, Paramount Stewarding, St John's Ambulance, Croxteth Hall Attendants and the support received by Merseyside Police.
