Repainting signposts
A specialist company has been repainting all our direction signs and noticeboards over the last few weeks (luckily the weather has been very kind with lots of dry days!). The work is almost complete now - and all our boards and signs are looking very smart.
The colour theme of all our signs is dark blue with gold trim - the original colours of the Molyneux family who lived at Croxteth; all the larger lettering and sign borders are picked out in gold, but the smaller lettering has now been painted white to make it very clear and easy to read.
This turned out to be a complicated task, with 64 directional 'fingers' being removed from their posts for painting - all of course having to be replaced in exactly the same position!
