Bark in the Park 2007
'Bark in the Park' has become a massively successful 'FUN' dog show. You don't have to own a pedigree pampered pooch to enter - there are classes suitable for almost any dog! Larger image of Bracken (please be patient while the larger picture loads)
Sponsored by Myerscough College, the serious side of the dog show is to help promote responsible dog ownership, and money is also raised for several animal charities.
You don't have to own a dog to enjoy the day - there is a display by the West Lancs Dog display team, along with demonstrations of working dogs and dog agility fun sessions. Throughout the day there will be guest appearances by Sniffer the Dog - representing the Customs and Excise Museum, Liverpool Museums.
There will be side attractions of market stalls, the Liverpool 08 Roadshow bus, PDSA Pet Health Check vehicle, and (subject to the weather) there will be children's fun fair rides. The Mitchell Church will provide children's entertainment between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
You can register your dog for any of the classes on the day - it is only £1.00 for entry into class 1, and 50p for all the other classes. There are certificates for 1st to 4th place and vouchers for dog food and care products.
