Pride of Place
Stately homes have long been associated with important meetings and discussions. Governments, heads of state and major corporations have realised the value of a place to step aside from the interruptions of day to day matters and focus on the big decisions.
A stately home such as Croxteth gives your meeting and organisation real status in the eyes of your delegates and will ensure that the issues discussed are given pride of place.
At Croxteth, a modern conference venue has been skilfully integrated within the elegant Edwardian setting of Croxteth Hall, making it the perfect location for a meeting, presentation or function.
The Historic Hall
Generations of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton, lived continuously at Croxteth Hall from the sixteenth century until the death of the last Earl in 1972.
Society figures and royalty frequently came to stay here for country house parties, particularly in the Edwardian era. Today many of the rooms are open to the public, showing life both 'above' and 'below stairs'. The Hall is also a venue for concerts and art exhibitions.
The Country Park
The large estate has remained virtually unchanged for a century, retaining almost all of its original features, particularly the Home Farm - where cattle still graze the fields - and the Victorian Walled Garden, a marvellous place for a relaxing stroll between borders of flowers and fruit trees.
