The Old Dining Room
The Old Dining Room is the most impressive room in the Hall, lending an air of majesty to any event that takes place there.
The room features a high, beautifully decorated plaster ceiling, carved oak-panelled walls, a grand fireplace, stained glass windows and an oak floor. The large windows offer fine views across the lawns.
If available, access to the room takes an impressive route via the main entrance, grand staircase and anteroom. A lift (installed April 2006) up to the Principle Corridor rooms gives access to all. Otherwise an alternative direct access is available from the Queen Anne terrace and steps. Ideal for receptions, concerts, banquets and exhibitions.
Seating arrangements in the Old Dining Room (16m x 8m) are flexible - tell us what you want. Theatre style the room accomodates up to 120 delegates, Boardroom style 40, Training style 60 and Banquet style 80.
