Lord Sefton's Teddy Bear Hunt
10.30am - 5.00pm (last admission 4.30pm)
'Learning is Fun at Croxteth Hall'
Popular annual summer event - younger children and parents will love this numeric fun. Count the Teddies you find in each room, add up the total number and enter our prize draw. (As featured on ITV's Granada Reports in 2009).
Normal Hall admission prices apply. A great prize for the first correct entry drawn after the Teddy Bear hunt closes has just been agreed! The winner of our 'prize draw' will be invited to the Liverpool One 'Build-A-Bear' Workshop to build a bear of their very own!
This prize has kindly been donated by the Francesca Bimpson Foundation Charity, with special thanks to Kieron Bimpson.

Donkey Rides
11.00 - 4.30pm
Look out for the signs to the Donkey rides as you walk from the car park to the Hall. Donkey rides will also be available weekends through September (as usual the donkey rides are weather dependant. If unsure, please call 0151 233 6910 first)

Heritage Open Days

Free admission to Croxteth Hall as part of England's largest voluntary cultural event, sponsored by English Heritage.
Meet the Butler (Sunday only)
11.00am and 1.00pm
Special - as part of our Heritage Open Days weekend, come along and meet our 'Butler' who will guide you around the Hall. Learn some fascinating facts about the Earl of Sefton, his family and servants from the Victorian and Edwardian 'Hey Day'. These tours are free, but you must book a place in advance by reserving a ticket. Please call our Gift Shop on 0151 233 6932 to reserve your ticket (numbers strictly limited so there may not be any tickets available on the day). If you are not lucky enough to get as ticket, an audio trail through the rooms lets you 'listen in' to snippets of conversation from the past.

Robin Hood Children's Quiz
10.30am - 4.30pm
Hollywood Legend, Errol Flynn was a famous guest of Lord Sefton back in the 1950's. One of Errol's best portrayals was Robin Hood. To commemorate his visit, enjoy our fun self-led event inside Croxteth Hall for younger visitors, devised to stimulate a child's imagination. This event is kindly supported by Jungle Parc Liverpool, who have donated two vouchers for Jungle Parc Liverpool tree-top adventure in Croxteth Park (each voucher is for a family session at Jungle Parc Liverpool; a prize worth up to £65.00. They are valid until 31 May 2012 ) The two lucky prize winners will be drawn at random from correct entries in our Robin Hood's Childrens Quiz.
The quiz is free for children with normal Hall Admission tickets.
Thursday 30 September
Hall and Walled Garden close. The Hall will open for October half term and weekends only during October. The Farm remains open weekends throughout the winter months.

- Sundays 4, 11, 18 and 25 and Wednesdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 July at 2.00pm - 4.00pm our costumed Heritage Volunteers bring the Hall display rooms to life and are there to answer any questions.
- Wednesdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 July at 1.30pm Walk for Health - enjoy a healthy walk through the park
- Thursdays 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July at 6.00pm Walk for Health - enjoy an evening healthy walk around the park
- Sundays 4, 11, 18 and 25 - West Derby Courthouse is open (time by arrangement)
- Tuesdays 6, 13, 20 and 27 April - 10.00am Cycle for Health - booking essential (0151 296 7054).
