Continental market at Croxteth Hall
Thousands of people braved the windy weather to enjoy the opportunity to browse and buy fresh continental produce and plants.
Geraud Markets Liverpool Ltd brought over 40 stalls to the spectacular setting around Croxteth Hall. Fresh produce including bread, croissants, herbs and spices, cheeses and continental meats, along with confectionary and even plants gave the market a truly continental feel.
The day was made even more interesting by performances of traditional court dancing by the Arbeau Dancers at the front of Croxteth Hall, with everyone being invited to join in. Traditional English Morris dancing by the Mersey Morris Men completed the colourful scene.
