Bark in the Park 2006 Report
Despite the poor weather, 'Bark in the Park' was a great 'FUN' dog show, with dogs of all breeds being brought along to join in the fun classes.
Sponsored by Myerscough College, the serious side of the dog show is to help promote responsible dog ownership, and money is also raised for several animal charities. The trophy in the picture was presented to the owner who most embraced the 'spirit of the day' in the view of our judges (larger picture - please be patient while the image loads).
Adults and youngsters alike were not put off by the rain, but thoroughly enjoyed the show put on by the West Lancs Dog display team, along with demonstrations of working dogs and dog agility fun sessions.
