Hedgerow Conservation Skills Day

This Hedgerow Conservation Skills day is a practical day targeted at park 'friends group' members and others interested in helping in parks to teach them basic tool use, practical management skills and conservation principles. Run by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

Compost Give-away
10.00am - 2.00pm
Bring a bag and a shovel along to our main car park (from the gates off Muirhead Avenue) and help yourself to a bagful of good rich compost. Now is an ideal time to improve garden soil - so digging in compost made from the kerbside collections is a great way to help those vegetables and flowers grow.
