Booking Terms and Conditions for Educational Visits
- All bookings must be submitted on the Learning Opportunities form. The City Council reserves the right to defer consideration of the booking for operational or other reasons that require us to do so.
- Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and Schools are strongly advised to book early for busy periods in May, June and July, especially if Schools require a Ranger-Led activity.
- Limited storage spaces are available on a first come first served basis for packed lunches, etc.
- Request for indoor areas for lunch slots are allocated on a first come first served basis. It is imperative that Schools use this facility according to their allocated time and leave the areas in a clean and tidy condition.
- Written confirmation of the booking will be sent by Croxteth Hall and Country Park. Until receipt of this bookings are not guaranteed.
- The person signing the booking form shall be deemed to be responsible for the booking, for their group and/or organisation as appropriate.
- The Client will provide payment to Croxteth Hall & Country Park for the booking at the time of the visit, or prior to the visit for certain themed activities (such as Victorian Christmas, etc). The Park reserves the right to cancel any visit that payment has not been received for. School cheques, cash or credit cards are acceptable. Cheques should be made to Liverpool City Council. A receipt will be provided on the day.
- When an educational booking is accepted it is a condition of the booking that the client shall:
(a) State clearly and fully on the booking form the precise number of students for which the educational visit is required. This will be the minimum number of students that Croxteth Hall & Country Park will receive payment for.
(b) Take out personal indemnity insurance for school visits and activities.
(c) Agree to comply with the specified timings of the educational programme. - In the unlikely event that it is necessary for the Park to cancel the booking the City Council will not be liable for any loss howsoever incurred in respect of this booking.
- The Client may apply for the booking to be cancelled in writing by e-mail, fax or letter; only on receipt of this notification shall this be effective.
- Should you cancel a visit after confirmation of booking, a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum group charge is payable, plus a £10 administration fee.This will only be waived in exceptional circumstances.
- Croxteth Hall & Country Park is not responsible for personal items or loss within the attraction or surrounding grounds and car park other than in circumstances covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
- In accordance with legislation Liverpool City Council operates a no smoking policy throughout the attraction with the exception of outdoor areas.
- Croxteth Hall & Country Park reserves the right to ask any individual or group to leave the premises if they are causing disruption or acting in a way that upsets or disturbs others.
