Booking details

Booking is easy - there are just 4 steps to take...

1. Check availability
Give us a call (0151 233 6905) to check we are not already fully booked on the day you are planning to come. Demand varies, so consider looking at other dates too. Due to the considerable demand for some of our Special Visits, the booking procedure is different, with advance payment required.

2. Fill in the booking form
Give us a call if there is anything you are unclear about. Download a booking form here. Don't forget - Liverpool LEA schools qualify for a 10% discount on the total visit price (except for visits specified on booking form or in Learning Opportunities 2008) calculated on the booking form.
Please -

• include any information we may find useful relevant to your visit (resources, topics covered)
• order any resources you may need
• include any special requirements or needs your pupils may have
• keep a copy for your reference
• send it to us at least two weeks before your visit.                          

3. Confirmation
We will send you confirmation of your booking on receipt of your booking form, along with any teachers' notes relevant to your visit. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us.

4. Payment
Payment should be made at the Gift Shop on the day of your visit (unless directed or stated otherwise).
The prices quoted on the booking form are correct at the time of printing; however the management reserves the right to alter charges at its own discretion.

Please make your cheques payable to 'Liverpool City Couincil' - or we'll stamp your cheque for you. Please don't fill in the final total until we confirm the amount with you.

10% discount for all Liverpool LEA schools
Following its successful introduction for Celebrating Learning 2003 we are continuing to improve access to learning for Liverpool schools, in line with the visions and values of Liverpool City Council. (Certain visits do not qualify - See booking form for details).

Tickets & receipts
You will be given a receipt that will count as a ticket for your group. If your party is splitting into smaller groups please ensure that each leader has a group ticket - available at the time of booking in.

7. Cancellation Fee
Should you cancel a visit after confirmation of booking has been sent to you a cancellation fee equivalent to the minimum group charge is payable, plus an administration charge of £10. This will only be waived in exceptional circumstances. All the small print including cancellation details.
