Key Stage 2

A 'trip out' is a great educational experience in itself, comparing the normal school environment with somewhere new. The excitement generated creates a lasting memory, which can stimulate all sorts of positive learning outcomes.

By their very nature, most of the topics we offer are cross-curricular, covering many facets of the curriculum. Use the menu bar on the left to explore topics on offer in Hall, Farm, Walled Garden and Park. The visit below could be taken in any of those areas.

Windows on our World - Self guided

Any time you visit
Worksheets: set of four photocopy masters £1.00 (you will need to pay the admission price to whichever area you chose to visit). Clipboards and pencils - set of 30 - £5.00 refundable deposit - must be booked in advance (depending on availability)

Encourage the development of drawing skills and record your visit to Croxteth. A set of four templates for you to photocopy (Hall, Farm, Walled Garden and Country Park), with some ideas on how you and your class can get the most out of them. These sheets are suitable for you to use on any visit to Croxteth.
