Home Farm (KS2)

Taking your group to the Farm is exciting! They will see a wide range of farm animals, allowing for development of topics such as food (and healthy eating), other animal products, caring for animals, geography, breeds and their characteristics.

As well as the well stocked Farm Activity Classroom. we have a selction of printed resources (including 3D 'Colour and Make' farm animal masks) to help you get the most from your visit.

Available: January - November, 10.00am or 1.00pm (unless otherwise arranged).
Duration: 1½ hours
Charge: £3.80 per child. Minimum charge: £95.00 per group

Home Farm Helpers
Explore the farm with a friendly farm ranger to meet the animals and to find out how the farmer cares for the livestock. Home Farm - Why Farm? (January to October)
Duration: 1½ hours
Charge: £3.80 per pupil. Minimum charge: £95.00 per group.
Farms are the source of almost all of our food. Find out how our food is produced and discuss with our farmer the reasons for farming, touching on contemporary environmental, animal welfare and health concerns.
