Farm KS1
Self guided
Your children can meet farm animals that for most are more familiar in stories, rhymes or pictures. Their size, noise (and even smell!) will fascinate them and becomes a great starting point for identification and observation. Caring for the needs of the animals (the work of the farmer) and an understanding of farming for food (milk from cows, eggs from hens, etc) can be developed and related back to nursery rhymes and stories.
We have a selection of printed resources to help you get the most from your visit.
