Learning Opportunities at Croxteth 2008

Sandford Award for Heritage Education logoCroxteth Hall & Country Park (holder of the Heritage Education Trust's Sandford Award for excellence in Heritage Education for over 25 years) offers innovative programmes for 2008, Liverpool's Capital of Culture year.

We now have the Liverpool Rangers based at Croxteth. Known as the Ranger Interpretation Service (RIS), they will enable us to continue to deliver a wide and varied high quality education programme.

CentipedeOur guided programmes available at Croxteth offer some new learning opportunities along with some old favourites such as 'Upstairs Downstairs', 'Hands on History', 'Mini-beast Detectives', 'Maps and Maths' and others.

The new 'Learning Opportunities 2008 (PDF [2.1Mb] opens in new window)' booklet containing details of all our education visits is now available. It will be mailed to schools who have regularly used Croxteth, and is available to download on this website.

As in previous years we are offering a 10% discount on booking charges to all Liverpool LEA schools (Selected visits do not attract the discount - see booking form or Learning Opportunities 2008 booklet for details).

If you want to discuss your requirements in person, please contact the Education Officer on 0151 233 6912 or the schools booking line on 0151 233 6905.
