Country Park

Enjoy a peaceful stroll in the country, surrounded by magnificent woodland, grazing livestock and traditional cottages. The landscape here has changed little in over a century.

Miles of paths throughout the park allow you to escape the crowds for a breath of fresh air.

The Park is an excellent place to see wildlife - the birdsong and wild flowers will soon make you forget you are only six miles from the City Centre. Croxteth Country Park contained Liverpool's first Local Nature Reserve - Mull Wood. This LNR has recently been expanded to almost double the size and is now called Croxteth Local Nature Reserve. Volunteers frequently come along and join in events to help us improve habitats in the LNR. See our event listings for further details.
